B2B content marketing for medium & large businesses.

White Papers. Articles. SEO Website Copy.

Who Is Judy Michael?

I am a B2B copywriter, specializing in white papers, ebooks, case studies, and articles. I also specialize in SEO website copywriting.

I am also an RFP writer, helping companies gain more business.

I enjoy what I do because I get to write AND make leaders more successful.

I have an extensive business education. I have a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Marketing.

I was a management consultant to Fortune 500 companies, including UPS, Expedia, T-Mobile, and dozens of other companies you know and love.

I was also an independent consultant to over 100 hospitals, and a director at a mid-size firm.  I know how business runs and I write from that perspective.

I learned to write from expert executives, who were the worst critics and the best teachers.

They made me sit down and learn how to write big impact documents about important issues.  Our projects addressed the kind of issues that keep a billion dollar company from making a profit - or going out of business.

That’s why I am not afraid to ask big questions.  I need to know who you are, what I’m writing about, and who your audience is.

I have been writing business documents for over 25 years.  First, it was for my bosses and their clients. In 2017, I started my own content writing business.

Since inception, I have had nearly 150 clients, mostly executives and entrepreneurs who need a great writer to promote their business and expertise.

What is B2B Writing?

I write Business-to-Business (B2B) content - from business people to other business people.

Honestly, I don’t enjoy Business-to-Consumer (B2C) writing, which includes writing about things you buy in your personal life. I tried writing for home improvements once and it was painful. Ask me to write about beauty tips and I will ask you to find another writer!

Ask me to write about business strategy, finance, marketing, or the customer experience and I will do great.

Business leaders learned informational writing in school.  They put together PowerPoint slides or academic papers that convey facts - but don’t drive decision-making.

A B2B writer is an advocate for the reader.  As a writer, I need to understand your readers’ problems and how to position a solution that creates interest and eventually sells.

They don’t teach B2B writing in high school or universities. You have to learn it from a mentor or organization skilled in that type of writing.

I have spent many years honing my skills with executives and taking additional writing and copywriting classes that help my clients promote their business.
